The European market leader in automotive maintenance and equipment has chosen our WiFi-as-a-Service solution to standardise the wireless infrastructure of its European network and thus overcome various challenges: strengthening corporate productivity and customer connections thanks to an increasingly comprehensive digital experience.
Thanks to Wi-Fi, customers have access to presentation terminals in the store and are guided in their search for products on the shelves. The customer journey for car maintenance also takes place via Wi-Fi: from viewing the vehicle to making an appointment and repairs in the workshop, always with greater responsiveness and service.
Since Wi-Fi has become absolutely essential for the operation of Norauto centres, we have ensured that the service works everywhere, in all indoor and outdoor areas, and that there is systematic redundancy: each area of the facilities is covered by at least two access points. We have also responded to the challenge of not hindering the commercial activity of the centres during operations. The sites are relatively quick to access, but require the use of a gondola. For this reason, we have mobilised our teams at unusual times (outside the centres' opening hours).
The stakes were high: to build a fleet of 650 car centres in several European countries in just over a year! At Wifirst, we put together a command team to set up the deployment technology, select our integrators in France, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Belgium, define and execute the ambitious deployment plan, etc.
