More than ten years of partnership between Wifirst and Accor

Accor is the largest French hotel group with more than 5,500 locations in around 100 countries. Its brand portfolio is very diverse, ranging from midscale and economy (Ibis, Mercure, Novotel, Adagio, etc.) to luxury and premium (Sofitel, Pullman, Raffles, MGallery, etc.).

 

Our shared history began in 2013, when Wifirst was selected by Accor to replace Orange in Mercure, Novotel, Pullman and MGallery hotels. 250 hotels were equipped in just three months! Three years later, Wifirst was listed as the sole WiFi, fibre optic and Chromecast partner for all of the group's brands. Since then, we have continued to work closely with our customers, using our tailor-made technological approach, which has won over Accor teams and franchisees in the digitalisation of their businesses.

An analysis of WiFi ratings on Booking.com shows that Wifirst stands out from the competition in every product line. All customers rate the quality of the service provided.

In the WiFi rating, the average difference between the facilities operated by Wifirst and those operated by other providers is 0.4 points.

A TECHNICAL RESPONSE TO THE EXPLOSIVE INCREASE IN USE

At Accor, we operate future-proof networks that are capable of absorbing the incredible growth in Internet usage (x2 in four years).

This illustration shows both the standstill in traffic from March 2020 and the resumption of activities from the second half of 2021. Since then, the increase in usage has been staggering!
